A bit of a drive for Athelstone CFS.

Athelstone are classed as a State Support brigade...they respond to assist with Bomber support...Stirling North does a similar thing.....

Heard Rob Sandford on the ABC earlier saying the was about 30 fires started by lightning up there. Would have been a lot of running around for those brigades concerned.

Email received last night to SES State Headquarters Unit volunteers. Advised to be on standby for a few members to attend the 'State Emergency Centre' and offer centres as required Thursday.
