Australian Crawl - Boys light up
Johny Cash - Ring of fire
Bonnie Tyler - I need a hero
Aretha Franklin - Rescue Me
The Living End - Save the day
Nicleback - Savin' me

That's about all I can remember for now...
On a side but related note, a really good track for slide-shows is Clocks, by Coldplay - seems to work no matter what you do with the images! :)

have to second "Bonnie Tyler - I need a hero", I did put it as the soundtrack to some footage of our brigade training (squirting hose around and burnover drill) and it's fantastic, really funny.

another good one is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra "Wizards in Winter" (a guy from ozfire in NSW used it for a slideshow he did a while ago, which is where I saw it).

I think Australian country music sung by Lee Kernaghan or Kasey Chambers would be suited best for fire/rescue theme music cause were an Australian fire service

Still it would be a good song to have as fire/rescue music cause were a fire service that goes bush and fights bush & scrub fires so its a perfect match

Or have a classic Aussie Rules Football song like Rockin Footy

But we also respond to road crashes, structure fires, hazmat, and other things that people call us to...

Should we ignore those aspects of our services, by only playing country music related to "the bush?"

Do you have problems with song copyrights if you use it in a promo video to the wider public audience.
