This is where I disagree Cam.

Its only 'public' because people have programs like the pager feeds.. - When the person sent it, I have a feeling it only went to one person.. Hence a private message..

If (extreme case) people had a phone feed, and could listen to our calls, would it be our own fault if we said something about someone and it was put up on the nearest forum??

Soon I wont be able to go to the bathroom without it being on the next forum I log onto..

On the other hand, the system isnt designed to be used for personal messages of this type.

Not to mention that the taxpayers are paying for each message...

Maybe the pager messages should come with a disclaimer - do not re-produce on safirefighter?

Again, it was a personal message..

I don't think any one has issues with the funny brigade messages that go to 45 people, or the response message "funnies" that the wrong brigade gets, or a funny message a crew gets while working.. - But individual private messages, are a different story..

Not all agencies. I have been advised that SES pay per pager per month. Not per message.

public message (private or not)...public forum....publicly owned.... dont want it to appear, then the owner/recipient can message the website owner and get their particular pager removed from the list...otherwise....stiff scheiße, we all get a laugh

my guess is that it is a test page for 211. if you look, above and below the saas page, there is inc039 and inc041.

public message (private or not)...public forum....publicly owned.... dont want it to appear, then the owner/recipient can message the website owner and get their particular pager removed from the list...otherwise....stiff filtered, we all get a laugh

Remember that, if you ever have a message appear (publically) that was personal.. - Thats all I have to say on my opinion of 'Personal Pager Messages', before this gets dragged off topic.

There is no place here for personal information. General information that is found on the internet is allowed providing it in no way identifies a person or persons and is not specific to a personal situation.

Use common sense and post only general service related messages.

If we can't be sensible no paging will be discussed on this site.
