That job was a car vs tree. No police car involved but they were travelling behind vehicle and witness it. It was initially called in as a departmental accident but that was cleared up later.

or maybe, just maybe, they want to discuss the front that wil be moving across the state tomorrow!

We could speculate though ....... maybe there is to be more rain in the green SE while the rest of the state dries out, or maybe there is going to be strong winds, infront of a cool change, moving across the state tommorrow, or maybe due to the change there will be a few days of cooler weather...........

Robert it may be green in the lower south east but the top of the south east is dry, mind you there are areas around lower where it would burn...

Errr hello...TOTAL FIRE BAN

There were two permits that could be issued - a schedule 9 & a schedule 10.  Schedule 10 was issued for a fire on a fire ban day.
Schedule 9 was for a fire during the fire dangerr season, (but not a fire ban)

Might have been given different numbers under the new Act..... ?    :?

Just speculation, but the message reads to me that the hay is already smouldering and the permit is just to cover their butts on the TFB day.

the fire would have to be extinguished completely by midnight the night before the TFB, the only way it can burn on a TFB is if the resident has a sched 10 permit...
