Why allocate 3 days for the beep test then?

Flexibility for staffing changes, set up and pack up, accomodating for those with medical certificate, factoring in unforeseen events. Probably on a needs to know basis.

There will be a few days of testing. About 300 to beep apparently.

Do you think these 300 have now been notified? They are leaving it a bit short notice if this is not the case.

Wonder if they'll send out an email to non successful candidates. Not knowing what's going on is hard

Yeah he got an email, as has been the case with all communication so far.

No reason given, and basically repeating that they won't release the results of the psych testing or give a reason why he was rejected.

Just got an email saying all the invites for the PAT1 have now been sent out and if you have not received an email you are not required to attend, doesn't formally say I am rejected but I can read between the lines.

Very disappointing but at least I finally know, congrats and good luck to all those selected for the PAT1 next week.

Same here, Gpats.

It's not over yet, the rejection letters have obviously gone out separately and we weren't in that group.  And so have the 'suitability pool' letters.  We've been put in a third group altogether.... ?

I wonder if it means that further PAT1 tests will be conducted the week after next??  Or better yet, we did THAT good in the psych test that they're letting us through without PAT1! Haha!

Like last time when 300 people got told to keep fit. It means you are suitable but not suitable enough

Email them and ask. They usually do suitability pools after interview. But who knows

You'd think they would just give you a date if they intended beep test you the following week. They may call from the eligibility pool if a very high number fail the beep tests next week. But just ring them and ask. You need to get on with life

Yeah it seems 80224,s mate got an email confirming he was unsuccessful and there was another alternate email that went out telling someone they were in the "suitability pool". Appears the majority of us are being kept in the dark though. Very frustrating

"The MFS have now invited applicants forward to contest the first Physical Aptitude Test (PAT1  Shuttle Run) over the course of next week."

It does seem weird that it states the 'first' physical attitude test.

Yeah I thought it was a little strange they said "Further information will be forthcoming as soon as possible." I would have thought if we were not in they would just say so now?
