Mmm, understand the point but find this offensive :-(

Please don't be offended by the fact that I was offended :-)

I did not take out this image - I am not sure how others would have judged this.

All I was doing was challenging the concept of calling intellectually or physically disabled persons "retarded". To me personally this is offensive.

I am not personally offended by either of the Jamaican jokes which were not racist, sexist or otherwise discriminatory as far as I can see.

Ironic, huh, the whole point was to suggest that arguing on the internet was pointless :-) LOL

Yeah i agree theres an awful lot of argueing for someone that doesn't agree with argueing on the internet.

Just chill out theres no harm in people winging on this forum, they may as well coz no-one else is going to listen to them.

The jamaican jokes IMO are light hearted humour not likely to cause offence. But if they do I am happy to listen.

The image although humourous to some may cause great offense due to it targeting one group of individuals etc etc.

We are trying to create a safe and happy place on the net for all fire fighters to enjoy! I hope that removing the image is considered as protecting the future of the site not trying to be too strict. On my first look it seemed ok but on reflection I chose the safest option of removal.

We conduct edits or moderation on a judegment basis there is no golden rule of what is and isn't ok. Everyone has a different moral/ethical compass and because of that we will get it wrong from time to time.

Hope you all understand. :-)

Yes This Was Also Pointed Out To Me By Someone Else & It Looks Abit Strange. Perhaps An Admin Can Check For IP Address Duplication?

If it is the same peoson then they have way to much non constructive time on their hands. Maybe they should do something useful like start their own rubbish pick up service in community areas, or scrub of grafitti with a tooth brush or they could ......"get a life"
Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the ability to control it.
