SAAS Rescue Paramedics
« on: November 09, 2010, 03:50:59 PM »
Been tracking around the city this morning and I saw a paramedic walking into the Wakefield Station. What I found interesting is that on his back it said "Rescue Paramedic". Are they the SOT's? Also he was not in an SOT vehicle, normal Emergency Ambulance.

Knackers

The SOTs do some shifts on a normal Ambulance as part of a normal two person crew every so often. It's to help keep their skills up because they obviously aren't rescuing people for the whole shift :P

Also, stops them being bored and makes them worth their wage :P

When SOT are on shift in SO75/SO175 ect, do they respond to incidents with one, two or three rescue paramedics?
