Who from Region Three is temping as VSO in Region Five?

We don't get told anything down here - anyone could be in the office doing any job and we wouldn't know :-) Not that we could see them anyway behind the counter to ceiling barrier they have erected.

The acting VSO in Region 5 is the ex acting VSO from Region 3 (who was previously the admin officer). If that makes any sense without naming names. Unfortunately with all the staff changes in the service it is hard to keep up. Prehaps a memo to Brigades is appropriate so as we at least know who to ask for when calling the office.

Why can't we name names? Are these appointments state secrets? :-)

Andrea is a great VSO - lucky Region 5. But who is acting acting for Region 3?

Yes Kat you are right, Andrea is a great VSO - Not sure if she would like her name distributed through this forum and the internet (although it is all good about her) - or, prehaps she might! At the moment the acting Region 3 VSO is David Baker.

Acting - was that a pun or did you mean he was in the role????

And I think he is now the permenant VSO - so acting was probally not a pun, but an actual statement

The acting VSO here in region 5 has done a great job and I have enjoyed working with her in the short time that she has been here. It's a shame that she is going back to region 3 and I for one wish here all the best, its great to see that CFS do have VSO's that are fully of life and really enjoy their job and the people they help. I have had to deal with her with our recruitment day and it was great having a person who had the contacts and could get her hands on items that we needed.
