I am considering placing an order for the long sleeved blue shirts (Non- Nomex) and want to place a bulk order. it works out cheaper and saves the manafacuturer making unnecessary one offs.

The shirt will be Dark Blue with the The CFS Star and Country Fire Service Printed on the top left hand corner with bold FIRE & RESCUE on the Back. If you are interested just register ur interest on this forum and we will see what will work best for the cheapest price.

Cheers

I believe that the CFS star is now reserved only for official uniform eg Staff and Dress Uniform. The logo however is no problem to my understanding.

The best CFS friendly clothing company we know of is arpajen@bigpond.net.au.

FARA still have plenty of shirts available, with either star or corporate logo...

btw, count me in, would be great for training and standby days, you know my contact details.

Have not seen anything in writing.  Till I do, I know I for one will only buy things with the STAR.

Hate the corporate logo !

Most people don't like the new logo

hehe...

My helmet has never had the "Taxi" logo, and it never will!

Don't know why it ever changed.

There are a few places still doing the star by request, FARA definately still do it....

As for the Corporate logo on helmets, mine had one on there, but it met a timely demise, with a little bit of help!

Funny isn't it?

Not one member of our Brigade has EVER had the taxi logo on their helmets.

The pre logo appliance still proudly wears the star.

Now I know this is an old, richly debated topic, but WHO actually does like the "corporate" logo?

Just for interest sake, Gum Nut embroidery (ex-Eastern Textile Traders) have been told that any further T-Shirt orders from brigades must only have the Taxi Logo (sorry corporate logo) on them.

So it has happened, I feel like writing to the Chief Officer saying WTF!!

It's simple.  I will not purchase anything with the "Taxi State" logo sign on it.

Therefor:

Those that sell items / produce items with the Star... Will make a packet.

I think this is one thing the COUNTRY FIRE SERVICE have really stuffed up !!!!!

spoke to the FARA guys today... they have been sent a directive saying they are not to issue any equipment with the star on it, unless it is dress uniform type stuff...

so tell me... how the hell is it that a corporate logo is being used for all operational PPE/Appliances/etc...

OMGWTF!!!!!!!!!

I have an idea................

Screw the stupid C.F.S  :x, i heard fara aren't even allowed to sell their current stock :?

All we need to do is make our own social club T-shirts or even better make VFBA shirts. Then you just put nothing on the front (maybe the brigade name) and whatever you want on the back.

Why do C.F.S keep doing this to us, it must be someone justifying their possition again.
