Alan, if you have not had a major problem then you should be able to seek further advice on that as a number of members staff and volunteer from around the state have done so and been able to do the course...
I approached the medical officer directly (can't remember his name & no longer care -
he also acts/acted as MO to the Aust swimming team, several of whom have both asthma
and gold medals.)
Wouldn't budge, despite me never, ever having had an "attack". The fact that I have
been prescribed a preventer & reliever (which I regularly throw away unused)
officially precludes any CABA use. Have to go 5 years without a prescription to be
reinstated. That isn't 5 years without
using a preventer/reliever by the way.
That's 5 years without a prescription being issued.
So we briefly discussed s*x & travel, & I re-grew a beard & became an officer instead.
Officering beats the stuffing out of working, although that Ashes fella got a snap of
me with a knapsack at Brownhill... I was just showing him how they work. Honest !!
Hint. If you have EVER had an asthma prescription & want CABA accredit/reaccredit,
take the medical form for CABA operator to a medical practice which you have never
been to before & lie outrageously. Blinky, I think you'll find that's the way it was
done.
