I saw a CFS truck on Thursday afternoon parked at the Registration & Licensing, driver training centre at Oaklands Road. Did not have a camera, but its build did look different.

If the CFS has contracted Varley to build the 34P's then money shouldn't be an issue, it should have been set aside when the contract was signed...

so you would think that they could be built at the same time?

Don't be silly and try to bring logic into this, you know it won't work...

Yes the 34Ps are being built by the same company but in a different state. And there is no chance of CFS ordering trucks then running out of money.

Wow you're back Tiller man long time no see.

But there is a chance Stowage etc isn;t funded in the initial order and they run out of money for that.

Even so, the appliances would be replacing already stowed ones, so there's no reason for them to hold back on delivery.

I can't see CFS not stowing a truck, things would have to be pretty bad to not be able to stow a truck, the gear is rubbish anyway, we send the old truck back with the new gear half the time so they may as well not bother.

I wonder what the stowage component of a new truck is actually worth in the overall price ?  So many have remarked that much of the equipment supplied is poor quality, would we be able to get more vehicles if purchased un-stowed?
