Thin as a rake and in the CFS? Wow, you will be pushing to find anyone to get the truck then won't you.

Seriously, does this not go back to a thread where i suggested that some captains think they own the brigade? The brigade needs to step in and get some action happening about this before a life is endangered because of an unnecessary slow response time.

I am sure that one of the happy LT'S in the brigade will be doing something about it .....

The issue(s) have been brought to the groups attention yet nothing has been done.

Bugger the chain of command...
I've heard of brigade members (not at compton) who just go straight to the top and speak to the main man.
The joys of email!!

still reckon they could have saved a whole lot of time and money if bunnings had have just added an extra shed for the station, imagine call outs, compton24 rolling, compton 24 on scene, compton 24 returning to station nothing found at bunnings alarm, compton 24 back at station, all within about a minute
lol

if you heard somethings to do with said brigade, not all (or even any) questions would appear as dumb

Isnt it funny how the amount of replies on this thread is equal to as many calls as Compton gets in two years

haha

i see the sign is up as well. looks good.
Bunnings won't be happy when they realise that as your major sponsors they havent even made the sign?

Will group be putting signs out on highway so everyone knows where the station is? It has been sitting as base for a few years now hasnt it?

So I am guessing you don't have meetings, or have BA, or do anything at COMPTON, I have seen bigger sheds for 1 call a year brigades, CFS still amaze me how they work out what brigades need.

Reckon you guys should hit up bunnings for a Gernie or Karcher high pressure water cleaner ,seeing as it spends so much time parked out in front of their place, possible talks with them about corporate signage on the unit, maybe you could remove the top coffin on the truck, replace it with timber racks and do some deliveries on the way back to the station, value adding ,very tommorow :-D
