I believe numbers was talking about the old days when the MFS, CFS and SES used to have a parade. (I don't know much about it, I've just seen the old black and white photos...)

Exactly, nothing quite like seeing Ms. Mt. Lofty standing in the front of an old blitz.

Oh well....the organisers of the 'fire truck run' in April 2008 can be the first olive branch then & allow Rescue vehicles into the run...the first one I rode at SES Mitcham Unit in the 1980's was an ex fire truck & then the Unit bought a Bedford.

I'm sure you'll find *plenty* of rescue vehicles in the 'Fire Truck Run'.
To think they employed me as a drooling retard...

True True, we take the view that the community already pays thru ESL and being in one of the poorest regions in the state why should they pay more?
And its a lot easier to to divide $10.5 million between 68 units than $???? between 400 odd :-D
