MFS fire trucks painted white

I noticed in saturdays paper a few weeks ago in the career one section, titled women with burning ambition. (a story about the 4 female recruit firefighters). the truck in the photo has the top part of the cab painted white, just wondering is that going to be the new colour red and white for future fire trucks.?????

It is quite common for the roofs to be white but isn't standard thru the fleet.
We have our Skyjet and Isuzu MUP with white roofs whilst the Scania and 4WD ROSA both have red roofs and they are all mixtures of ages.

I don't think under the current chief you would see an all white MFS truck as I believe he thinks red is favourite choice of colour. :-)
The views I express are my own, and not necessarily of the service I represent!

AFAC standards from a few years ago (not sure if it's changed now) but required the roof of appliances to be white.....
