Adelaide Hills SES

Heard someone mention is passing the other day that Adelaide Hills unit has been renamed, or had some kind of re-shuffle... Do any of the SES blokes on here know anything about that?

Yep happened a while ago, same as Northern districts. The reason it better identifies the area they look after. A bright new future for those units as well!

So does this mean that if they are being re-named to "Mt. Barker" they will also have their response area restricted to Mt. Barker, allowing a faster response to storm and tempest damage outside of the Mt. Barker township?

Northern Districts now changed to Edinburgh

Thats a bit harsh :-D we all know what Numbers dreams of! (the Telesquirt thing :wink: )
The reality is the biggest threat to the SES is the SES itself! & I like the orange peril thing - better than being called after a lolly :wink:
