Unsure but if they didnt it was up to them as they (CFS) have to book in with adelaide fire on 093 dont they? So MFS would have known about the call?

Ok,by the sound of it you all think its a good idea?? so next time you see Euan give him your full support for this as its his idea and a very good one.
Quote from: ltdan on June 15, 2007, 05:13:31 PMYou're right there it will.
It will happen!!
Good move for the fire services and for the community we serve.
Quote from: RescueHazmat on June 11, 2007, 08:28:13 PMWell we best put a MFS station in evey town asap then if the community is at risk from the CFS :?
How many more years do we put the community at risk while we try and think laterally ?
Quote from: uniden on June 11, 2007, 05:05:36 PMGood luck trying to get that to happen. We've been trying to get some changes done for ages and if they do get done it will be when they are ready to do it! (read never)
Maybe someone needs to make it official. So that it can be fixed up in the data base to prevent these jobs from happenning. (ie the Penola ones)

Must be a good car fire if they need that many appliances! :?
bus or a truck perhaps?
Quote from: 5271rescue on June 02, 2007, 01:47:18 PMIs that a new addition or have they had it for a while?
region five have a BBQ trailer
Quote from: Mundcfs on May 27, 2007, 04:19:42 PMMFS yes, but spare no. I believe this is a 1946 MFS appliance, so not much good as a spare. Someone may have some photos, i think ive seen some on here before, was at the CFS demo at the show last year as well.
SALIS 34 AND ENGINE 58 BACK AT STATION
Are they running an MFS spare at the moment???
If so it's probably a bit better than giving them a standard 24....
Quote from: Mundcfs on May 24, 2007, 09:27:04 PMMight be picky but maybe better to have them coming rather than make a decision with what someone is telling you on the phone. I bet a few people have been caught out with something a lot worse than was originally explained on the phone. You can alway put a stop on them.
True, was up to the GO on the alerts call at the time, but a second hazmat brigade wasn't really needed, as i said before though burnside and christies were only used as they had equipment no one else had!!
Quote from: Pixie on May 22, 2007, 11:40:06 PMBut this wouldnt be a second hand truck, so there wouldnt be as many problems you wouldnt think. Would be dissapointed if they succeeded with their quest but only became a one off appliance.
Unfortunatly, i think The (our) Dennis has scared cfs away from trying out other heavy pumpers...
