Would have thought that the unsuccessful emails would have been sent if that was the case? Especially if some have already received them.

Strath Cfs isn't actually a listed rescue brigade and don't have an area at all.. Why they have rescue gear I couldn't tell you!

The CFS does a compartment course muscleandpluck.... Which I'm sure quite a few of the Cfs members on here have attended.. And have you ever tried to stay out of the smoke at a bushfire? It tends to blow in the same direction as the wind which funnily enough is usually the same direction as the fires heading!  :-o hard to believe I know...

Haha thanks for making that clear pip!

I was told it costs so much in study for saas and theres that many paramedics coming out of uni compared to positions available that they can just tell them if they want a job they have to go regional.

QuoteHah.
What a joke.

An incident reported direct to a manned fire station is no different to a 000 call.
Of course they should have acted.

If someone reported it to a fire station asking for help then yes, notify Adelaide fire and get appropriate resources responded but if someone tells you about an already reported incident that other emergency services are attending it's not really up to us to tell them if they need us.. 99% of the time if the operator thinks we are required well then we get paged and most times its in a fairly reasonable timeframe
#24

You had a car accident reported to you, and you failed to take any action?
Interesting in itself.

Really?? If it had already been reported and the ambos called why would they need to
Take any action? If they wernt called probably a fair chance it's because they were not required!
