Good Aussie ones from Vic :-D
Both my boy's like it,so when are we CFS going to do one???
:?
just go absoloutely crank and set up cameras everywhere around the station so that when the pager goes off it trips a circuit that turns them all on... could be good fun.
reminds me of the videos burnside produced a while ago, they were pretty good
Yes Grant at burnside did a good job, wish he would make a new one may be on his day of from SOCC and other dutys he may find time...
what is the clip of? i can't get my computer to play it.
Its a website with videos of emergency vehicles responding to incidents... skip the intro and go to the english page...
Well speaking of videos I just came across the Morphett Vale CFS Website (http://www.mvcfs.asn.au) - which has a copy of their latest video on it. I have seen a DVD before which had three of their videos, from memory they ran about 15 minutes each and were a mix of fires and funny stuff.
This latest video is more of a slideshow of pictures with some video thrown in the middle to music, the file is big but if you have broadband it only takes a few minutes to download. All in all a very professional production - good work Morphett Vale.
Is anyone else out there doing anything similar.
well i couldnt find it anywhere....
its below all the menu items - MVCFS 2006 Video.
Low quality (15mb) (http://www.mvcfs.asn.au/mvcfs2006.wmv)
High quality (33MB) (http://www.mvcfs.asn.au/mvcfs2006high.wmv)
cheers, must be going blind
AWESOME
No worries... That's a filtered good clip... would like to see some of the ones from previous years now...
yeh, perhaps Matt B can come to the party there...
What a great way to promote your brigade on a yearly basis.
Excellent effort.
Wayne
Glad to hear you guys liked the video, the previous ones were an actual video that ran about 15 mins each. As Crankster pointed out, they had some fire vision and some funny stuff in them.
If you are ever down our way call into our station and have a look.

I reckon that show is rubbish... But i saw a show on A1 channel the other day about the Williams family in Texas who own their own fire service that respond to large chemical/flammable liquid fires, they have some amazing equipment and training facilities for their company.
Wiilliams family, best chemical and petrol firefighters in the world, now I hear there is also a show on SBS during the weeknights called EMERGENCY and its on the aussie emergency services. Not sure what time or day its on so look in your local paper... May be a few more brigades could do a video...

Mind you, I watched that show on free to air TV over a decade ago. Yeah its a bit dodgy by todays standards, but eh.
saw another decent one on the history channel the other day. It was about the evolution of firefighting in the US of A. not too bad

Its a real bummer i cant watch that show as i dont have a prime antenna  thats why i watch rescue 911 on Austar... i've seen that USA fire fighting history show on History channel as well firetruck and i can say without a doubt it proves that USA fire services also have had a long & colourful history like the CFS :-D
There is a program on SBS on Wednesday nights at 1930 called 'HELP' the first episode was on last week, I missed it but apparently it is a ride along type show with the NSW Ambos.
Help - Part 2 (30 mins, Rated: PG)
Genre: Documentary
This six-part documentary series takes you inside the real-life events that ambulance officers and paramedics face every day while on the job. This series provides a unique insight into a world only seen by ambulance officers, paramedics and emergency victims. Lipstick cameras mounted onto the hats of ambulance officers give viewers unprecedented access into one of society's most gritty, demanding and challenging jobs - that of the NSW Ambulance Service's paramedics and officers.
In tonight's episode, motorcycle paramedic Kirk is called to a man suffering exposure after a steep fall onto an embankment. Audie and Ben are required to apply CPR to a man found collapsed at the wheel of his car. Audie and James are then called to attend to an elderly lady suffering chest pains. A young man drove into a telegraph pole and suffers temporary memory loss when Lindsay and Leanne arrive at the scene of the accident. The call comes into Audie and Ben to attend a male with lacerations and bleeding. It turns out to be a minor cut, but they treat the patient with care and respect.
