I saw a MFS car that was burgundy not red
Does anyone know how why the changed to the burgundy
It was very hard to see.
Maybe it was cheaper? :P
You're right though, I've seen one too - one of the command cars...
I believe some of the available colors for the Ford Territory have been dis-continued.
Thhere have been burgandy vehicles getting around for years..
I recall one of the Adelaide DO 4x4's has been burgandy for the last couple years...
yep there is one at mfs in the mount looks ok,as long as it has lights and siren's does it matter what color it is???? go to the states, green, yellow, blue and orange fire appliances....
Giddy up ! ^^ :-D
The command cars get changed over every 40,000km or every 2 years, so they dont stick around for long. George in the Mount has gone back to a Commodore now.
Sounds like cut backs, being tight arses.
It was the unavailability of red Ford Territory's.
You will find that the replacements are Nissan's, in the same colour as the red Territory's. They look very nice i might add too, watch this space and I will post up a pic soon.

Apparently they weren't the best handling vehicle. It seems that the new Nissan's are a much better choice, favoured by most driving them. The only unfortunate thing about it all is that it's an import.
Well they are getting more Burgundy Territory. This one is being fitted out at the moment
This one was at the opening of the WPFG last night
not sure about mfs but cfs and ses have changed to either three years or 100,000kms to save the cost of fitting the vehicles out and stripping them. The new ses hiluxes are going on a five year lease plan.
Cant believe TAXI striping is so expensive :-P
