You obviously don't know what u r talking about. You also must have such a good job like a cleaner or something? You have NO NEED to earn more than 80K per year or don't need the money. Do not need or could use the the two weeks off per month plus an annual leave of two weeks.

Are u saying people who are cleaners have a Sh*t Job??? No i dont need all those things...and just as i stated i don need every volunteer in my region whingin n whining about me either
Sorry but can someone please help me here, i must be hiding under a rock, what is the issue with these jobs and / or the people doing them??? There seems to be some strong opinions from ppl here about them?
I gather from reading for a while that, some people on here think CFS jobs are underpaid and overworked nothing happens and everyone in the region hates you. weather this is true i don't know but t pops up on here from time to time.
i think the people whow ork within the regions do a wonderful job and whether they are underpaid well i guess thats up for debate...ive just witnessed a lot of people bagging RO and the way they do things /make decisions..hence reason why i wouldn really want to have their job. thats my opinion/experiences anyway
Ahahaha did you think PJ was talking about a position at region?
Was wondering how this went off in a tangent so quickly

Regardeless of the package I am sure they (CFS) get a stack of applications for every position that is advertised..
Look on SEEK -
If you want to know anything about ESO jobs PM me. Happy to let you know what you need to get into the mining industry as an ESO. I have recently recruited for ESO's in the Pilbara and noticed one or 2 CFS Vollies in the mix. Good to see guys prepared to have a go. And yes $100K ++++ is not out of the question for the right person, even with no mining experience.
Guys lets stop bagging the paid staff, if your not happy with what then doing then apply and show you can do it better. if you can do it better then the volunteers shouldn't whinge.
I have personally been tempted to apply until i found out how much was paid, didn't personally want to take a pay cut, Some of our staff thought earn 80 to 90k if they put in the time.
Evac i will be in touch, a ESO position could be of interest.
