Building Codes of Australia?

If they cost firefighters lives...expect less offensive firefighting.

Ah yeah thats pretty much what the industry is thinking. Means that the Sprinklers only have to last till fireys arrive on site.

So under the new codes, sprinkler systems only have to work for ~10mins?

Umm ask your service for a copy of FPA magazine from this month... has it all in there... got a table with the processes that services go through from notification to kerbside to extinguishment.

But yeah i wouldn't be suprised if the services took over 10mins that by time they got there the sprinklers or tank was empty!

its what we professional in the industry call BS!!!!
