Post by: pete on November 29, 2007, 10:46:12 AM
Does anyone know to what extent this facility is going to be shared?

Are we talking about the one on Grand Junction Rd?

If so, it is already being shared, - CFS appliances stored there, the workshop doing work on some CFS appliance, CFS staff, I think, have offices there....

Yeah, shared to the point of them servicing your truck, they won't do it.

I guess the hassle is, if your only staffed to handle the MFS workload, what are yous suppsoed to do.

MFS Engineering is already being used to co-ordinate warrantry repairs for the 34P's...and i believe it is where the new appliances get tested/stored before delivery...   A fair amount of CFS work already seems to go on at MFS engineering.

As for appliance servicing, etc....Its up to brigades to find local diesel mechanics or workshops to maintain them.   Maybe some assistance from paid staff in regards to vehicle maintenance would be nice :)

CFS Tech Services is located at Angle Park Engineering also and this where all the stowage etc for new appliances is done, prior to delivery
