Can anyone tell me why, and even if they have any relevance of the symbols at the end of pager messages.
example < or >
SHQ: CFSRES: KINGSTON RESPOND DIESEL SPILL CNR SOUTHERN PORT RD AND YOUNG ST, KINGSTON - FROM KINGSTON COMMS OFFICER > 27/02/2007 3:18:48 PM
SHQ: WAYNE - CREWS HAVE CONFIRMED SUBSTANCE IS UREA AND HAVE DEALT WITH IT, ALL RETURNING TO THERE STATIONS - CHEERS MATE, ALEX < 27/02/2007 14:58:50
Usually means that the message has exceeded to many characters Adam
It means what desk at SOC the page was sent from... :)
If the message is too long, it will just send it in 2 pages won't it?
Correct CFS.
It means which terminal the operator was on at the time.
Thanks. Curiosity was so killing the cat :-D
