aren't there a couple of new 34p's sitting around somewhere?

There are a batch of new appliances being built, some of which are due to start moving out to brigades soon, with the associated movement of appliances / refurbishments etc

Do you know which appliances are going where Pip?

Pipster

Not yet!

Although I understand there are several older appliances (mainly 19 & 20 year old Rear entry Hinos) that CFS are keen to replace - either with a new appliance, or a refurbished one

Also Happy Valley Pumper got it's first bit of publicity in Todays Advertiser. Pumper was used for the Photo about the Road Toll, quite a sad pic to look at but Pumper did get shown off, just a little bit

Now for some of those HV day crew boys to go to some goods house fires like the old days...

Any additional crew that can respond during the day, that are BA qualified, are always welcome.  No brigade would enjoy having to default because of a lack of numbers.  So to get additional qualified AND experienced crew is good, very good.

It may mean, however, that some less experienced crew members may start missing the truck again.  You can't have the best of both worlds, we will find what bests fits for our brigades needs, I have no doubt.
