Gambier Tanker
« on: November 21, 2006, 04:05:22 PM »
Gday,

Just wondering those of you who live or work in around Adelaide.  Have any of you seen a tanker being built for the Mt Gambier Group? If you do a photo wouldnt go astray.

Thanks.

Not sure about Gambier Tanker, but CFS are trying to get some Tankers out on the ground fairly quickly - hence old chassis, with a new (and fairly cheap back on them).

I understand that CFS is looking to build some "u beaut" tankers, with new chassis, and new backs on them in the future, but they are working on that now....not sure what the time frame will be....  :-D

^^ no....

"Thunderstruck" - i wouldnt reccomend the movie, but there is a small fire in an RSL (filmed at Blackwood RSL), i only realised after it that they were a CFS crew and Eden Pumper was out the front... what a beast of a truck.

the movie is about these ACDC fans taking there mates ashes to spread in fremantle cemetery where bon scotts ashes were scattered....

I wanna see that film, never get round to it.  Looks like a light laugh, love the aussie films.
