Mt Gambier xmas pagent
« on: November 19, 2006, 05:23:56 PM »
Hey Rob didnt see your float in the parade were you there??
Its a pity none of the CFS brigades from the Gambier group dont participate. I know its in the city but its for the whole community as demonstrated by all the floats from surrounding town schools.

First year in a fair while a cfs brigade hasnt been involved.  Generally the Cadets get involved but i guess none of them wanted in.

If i had known sooner i would of done something about it.

Sigh  yes i was in the pageant ath cause my car was float 43 although it didnt get a mention on the replay broadcast cause Win News decided to go to a commercial break instead of spending a minute explaining my float  :-(

Look on the bright side CAMO our bigger brother service MFS had 7014 and 701 in the parade as well as the CABA simulation training trailer
:-D

Maybe next year you can do something for the Parade:wink:,,, oh yeah off topic CAMO what other forestry companies aside from Forestry SA were in attendance at the Border Hop today

Maybe we can get Wayne sa_firefighter to enter in his Land Rover, and we could dig out our khaki overalls to add some nostalgia to the float :-D

There's always the fire parade - we're all in that one! We went through a few red light cameras, so there should be a nice shot of us waving at SAPOL somewhere...
