SFEC overview
« on: November 12, 2006, 09:57:48 PM »
Hi All,

I was just going through the volunteer that other day and happened to notice the section on SFEC's being overviewed for brigades. Just wondering if anyone had some inside info on how this was going to be done, and if they find there are some problems (not likely "LOL"), and what there plans will be to do about these problems, i surpose get a bigger budget and completely buy Brukunga and turn it into STC?

now someone did tell me but I am not 100% sure, they are reviewing all brigade and groups SFEC as it has not been done for years and in many cases a brigade thatwas once a rural brigade is now a fully urban brigade with only rural appliances. From what was said there will be a need to look at what the brigade area has in it but also what is in the next brigade area or if the are a EMA brigade then review what appliances they have........ I am sure there is someone else in here who would know...

But in the end the SFEC can say what it likes.  If the CFS isnt given the budget to fix these problems then it wont happen very quickly!
