Unfortunately people want to blame someone, sometimes in life filtered happens.
People have the attitude its not my fault the fire happened and that I was not ready.
I feel for Euan and the CFS on the West Coast. I also understand the anger from some of the public.
Lets hope the we all learn from this terrible day.

Unfortunately, too many just expect CFS to learn....there are many that haven't done any preparation...they just have unreal expectations..as I keep telling those who wish to lay blame...everyone did the best they could, we didn't start the fire and we can't control the weather when it wants to play nasty like that... :x

each summer we do the same story to the public this year could be it have you done your clean up yet???? Take a look around the hills and parts of the south east and you know what the public have done jackshit and they expect us to go in and protect their homes..Please time the local fire prevention officer in the council did there job and booked people......

Maybe you're right Bill....the message should change from it's time to HAVE YOU DONE IT YET??  the message is too nice and relies on people having a conscience...oh, hang on, they pay their EMS levy...that gives them the right to do nothing but expect us to be superheroes...how could I forget that.. :evil:

Maybe some sort of advertising campaign needs to be launched that is a little on the nasty side?

Show a picture of a house covered with leaves and scheiße and a driveway that isnt accessible and then say if you want your house to survive this summer do something about it! Contact your local CFS..blah blah blah

"g'day australia chopper here how the filtered are ya, .  Is your house filtered covered in leaves and tree's filtered everywhere?  If it is youre a filtered idiot and chopper doesnt like filtered idiots.  Ill come down and smash ya hard.  Alternatively you could filtered ring ya local fire station and get them to filtered giva ya some advice otherwise when there is a fire they'll filtered leave it to burn.  So come on AUstralia, be a man and clean up ya filtered house and have a bushfire action plan, and filtered use it.
