well yeah if there is the commercial and industrial risk along with schools etc then i dont see why not either.

Although if they cant get the truck out the door then there probaly isnt the need as a red truck probaly will take its place but thats another thread.

It seems the CFS is way behind because if you go across the border (CFA) it seems any brigade with a reasonable town 5000 plus or maybe less has some sort of pumper but it seems here you have to fight tooth and nail for them.

Although government funding would probaly be the biggest killer in that department.

All EMA brigades should have RCR gear as well for when we have to do COQ to their stations :-D

Have heard that by this time next year every region should have its own spare appliance. Will have to wait and see what happens there.
Don't look back. Something might be gaining on you.

Don't think they could justify the thousands of dollars in gear, thousands in training, and thousands in upkeep.. On the off chance and rare occasions that CFS does COQ to MFS stations..

Nice concept though.

It's not as rare as you think, Last Year I know Happy Valley did atleast 3 or 4 COQ's to MFS Station's, hell around this time last year The Old Happy Valley Pumper was sitting down at Adelaide Fire Station on COQ during the Flooding last year, Sitting proudly next to the MFS Trucks that where still stationed down there, One Last Dance with the Old Gal, then only 2 months later she was gone and is now sitting down in the Boneyard, collecting even more rust  :-(  Ohh well Maybe we will find some glory in 24P.... :-P

If you can provide an argument to your powers above, showing your Rescue needs, or lack off, in you PRIMARY, note, *PRIMARY* area, you will have alot better chance of RIV or rescue equipment. (Wanting all EMA brigades to have RIV/Rescue for COQ is just impractical).

CFS will not pay for (and nor do I blame them) thousdands upon thousands of dollars, and almost equally as much in training your members and in upkeep, for the 3 or 4 times you do COQ into MFS stations.

I understand your argument, but that won't get you anywhere.. You need to show risk in your Primary area.

I believe you will have more chance of a Pumper in the short term over Rescue gear. But, anything is possible.
