SES display, Field Command & Rescue teams at Adelaide Show

Hi,

In case you are wandering around the Royal Adelaide Show and get close to the food courts (believe Boulevard Food Court near the Dairy Farmers Fun Park) near the Rose Tce entrance, then come and visit the SA State Emergency Service.

Their will be three parts to the SES area. A Public Relations/Recruitment display organised in conjunction with the SASESVA, Rescue team on standby to assist SAPOL and St Johns with associated rescue vehicle and a Field Command bus monitoring multi-agency and other talkgroups.

Rescue and Comms teams are rostered in two shifts per day.

It can be hard work, but its filtered fun. I just hope that people at least wash their oranges first this time and dont look like the usual bag of crap.

Are we doing escort runs infront of the ambos again this year or have they given up on that idea?

lol - on the topic of innapropriate PPE/dirty/whatever - i remember doign it for CFS a while back, and a few peopel rocked up in various hsirts advertising alcohol and rock bands... LMAO.


luckily rags managed to get some CFS shirts later in the day

Yeah I Remember The People In There Old VB Shirts Not The Best Publicity For The CFS.

As For The SES Display, Might Have To Go And Check It Out, I Will Have Time To Kill Before The CFS Display Everynight As I Am Going Straight From Work.

As For Clean PPE/PPC Um Mine Is Permanently Dirty, Doesnt Matter If I Wash It Its Still The Same.

God I wish the CFS would get their act together and have a display again. Don't need the Promo unit Pantech, just a 34 and a Pumper and thats enough of a display.
