Hi. As you can see I am a new member here, and just want to introduce myself.

I am a professional fire fighter working in south africa. I started working when i was 18 and are now 24. I am always interested in hearing how fire fighters in other countries go about their duties.
I hope i can learn more bout you other guys and gals out there. :-)

Welcome to the SAFF forums! Are you working in an urban or rural environment?  I can imagine that South African fire fighters would be facing similar challenges (fire wise) as we do in South Australia... It would be interesting to trade techniques and ideas...
