Manuel

I'm up for it, wherever it is :-D

CFS_Firey

I actually meant an online BBQ thread, like was done last year, but if you want to have a BBQ in the real world, that's great too! :-D

Manuel

yea i knew that hence the ' :-D '

rescue5271

Ok I will go clean the BBQ,someone get the meat and beer

Pipster

Maybe have it at the CFS comps, and combine it with the yahoogroups BBQ, and probably throw in some of the ozfire guys as well........ (and I don't mean ozfirey - I mean ozfire.org  ) :-)

Pip

There are three types of people in the world.  Those that watch things happen, those who make things happen, and those who wonder what happened.

oz fire

Thanks Pip - see you there!

And yes, id prefer not be thrown on the BBQ!
Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the ability to control it.

Sounds good to me can we take over an event????

Manuel

so CFS_Firey when are you going to have it, it looks like a goer

CFS_Firey

To be honest, I'm totally confused... Do people want one in real life, on these forums or both? :?

Alan (Big Al)

Anyone on SAFF entering in the comps at Goolwa should come round home for a BBQ on the Saturday night before hand that way everone will be in tip top shape the next morning.

Pipster

But Tip Top shape for what?   I doubt it will be for competitions, after a good BBQ...

well he can't be too bad then!

(PS. what's an online BBQ? we all sit around in our own backyards having a BBQ by ourselves with a wireless laptop posting here about what a great time we're having?)

Manuel

hahaha, well it is a bit like that, What it is, is we create a new thread as if we are all meeting at a BBQ, and we talk to each other like as if we were at a BBQ. that way we get to know people better. but hey if you want to get outside and start up the BBQ, while on-line, feel free to do so.

rescue5271

i will be right as the family and I are staying down there for a few days as I am on Holidays sounds good byo FOOD and DRINKS, you supply the drinking comp at your place

PF_

the region2 field day is that same day so we gotta have a bbq another time, or all region 2 members can have their own bbq at the field day  :-P

Pipster

Have they changed the date of the Region 2 Field Day?  I thought is was meant to be on the 8th October...the same day as Bathurst
