Hey peoples,  my phone has basically got no signal...seems obvious that lightning has made the local tower inoperable...OR here is my question?

Does anyone else with Vodafone not have signal :)   Leading to the conclusion that Vodafone just Fails.

My Nokia N95 is on Vodafone :-D and the customer service is top notch if you ring them about a problem with the service or just with a general enquiry

Each tower has extreme lightning protection. If a site is hit it trips a breaker to prevent damage to the equipment, which are Ericsson RBS2000/2708 Base Stations. The microwave link sends a message to the next base station and coverage is taken over until the affected base comes back online.

i really like the $300 of credit for $50

lol.. Or Optus' $550 for $80 ...

So many comparisons Zip-meister.. - All I know is they both beat the Virgin PrePaid.. (IMO) - No slander or defamation intended..

Optus's customer service record lets it down tho' - in short, they suck at Customer service!!
