Does anyone know if the new "field" uniform shirts are available from stewart and heaton yet? They are green long sleeved workshirts thats about all i know. Does anyone know what they look like exactly?

Still have not heard! would be good if they could send out an email with pictures or some thing to groups to pass on to members.

Just had the official word from Stewart and Heaton. The shirts are not available yet because there was a mix up with the fabrics and they are yet to be approved.

Does anyone the do/donts of this uniform? what can it be worn for? can you use the shirts for mopping up with turnout pants? What do they look like?

I wear one on a day to day basis with Mets. they are as good as turnout gear, depending on wether you get the long or short sleeve's they are 100% cotton and proban treated ours are blue button up fronts with yellow and silver stripping on the pants and waist/sleeves of the shirts only thing is wearing them in the office like now for example. they get pretty warm not hot but warm... try the below website link that might help you out a bit. as for the do's and dont's well same as your normal proban turnout gear.... it's either 25 or 40 washes then you may as well throw them away and get a new set as the proban will have washed away. primarily we deal with RCR and it's very suitable for this application provided your wearing the long sleeved version same with wildfire it would be ideal for this purpose, thats about it. when it comes to Urban Firefighting then the PBI Gold level 3 gear is the way to go.

There is always one more thing you can do...!
