Might be related to the contaminated uniform issue....all the vehicles are being done, and all the uniforms removed....might be also doing stations

Pip
There are three types of people in the world.  Those that watch things happen, those who make things happen, and those who wonder what happened.

This is correct.

All vehicles and stations are being cleaned. Also, as of 1800 tonight no greens will be on station.

To the person who made the claim (in another thread) that S&H have lost the contract, this is totally incorrect.

Multiple SES and CFS trucks have been bogged over the years when the top of the ground gets wet & greasy. It is amazing how many SAPOL cars loose traction when parked on wet grass.

Not so much the weight of the vehicle, but the grip. It happens. Just fix the problem & get on with life.

I hope the patient was OK after a delayed response, because that is what matters as far as I am concerned....

Of course I hope the patient was ok and there are multiple circumstances where trucks of all kind have become bogged, it just doesn't stop me from having a great mental picture of an Ambulance going full tilt into a muddy paddock, going slower and slower, sinking deeper and deeper...

That would be funny if the lights&sirens were operating as well.....

But most are boring....vehicle parked on a safe verge that is wet on top. Sinks slightly while parked and then not enough grip when it tries to move. Rear wheel spins and the vehicle is bogged..
