Quotemaybe they read this site as well?

Well this is SA Firefighter, not surprising that some paid MFS staff may occassionally frequent this site, not everyone here has to post 18 messages a day.
Crankster on scene, you can take a stop...

SHQ: YAHL **STOP CALL** FROM GAMBIER OPS CPTN - BURN OFF ONLY < 26/05/2007 11:40:37

May as well direct page the Ops captain for calls down there, he seems to race out to all the jobs before the brigade and put stops on them.  :|

Time he let crews get to the job and see for them selfs or better still give him a Q/A for his own use...No wounder members are getting pissed off down that end of the south east when he keeps stop calling them and no one is on scene...(my view only)

mack

but why let the vollies waste there time if he knows its a burnoff he was notified of but failed to pass on?

uniden

In his defence, he apparently lives close by and MFS were paged prior to CFS and were already mobile to the area. Apart from that as far as I know people dont have to advise others of burn offs out of the fire season.

SALIS 34 AND ENGINE 58 BACK AT STATION

Are they running an MFS spare at the moment???

If so it's probably a bit better than giving them a standard 24....

MFS yes, but spare no. I believe this is a 1946 MFS appliance, so not much good as a spare. Someone may have some photos, i think ive seen some on here before, was at the CFS demo at the show last year as well.
