It did have "Training exercise" written all over it.  It wouldn't have looked good if a brigade managed to gut its own station on a training night - bit hard to explain to region.   :-D

not to mention 5 km south of port wakefield, or 15 km south ?

Obvisouly who ever informed SOC had no idea.. SOC can only go by what little info they sometimes get...

Im guessing the call came frmo another agency, or someone who was rather frazzled about where they were..

that message is so confusing, the brigades probably just cruised up and down the highway till they found sumthing to respond to.

it is. I believe it is a sabotage by french spies to lower the quantity and quality of australian wine, so their own wines can punch a hole in the market.

I found it odd that the truck drivers name was pierre...

Call from SAAS was first..

BL81 Cat2 Highway 1, Port Wakefield POLICE REQUIRED

No better info on locality..  Its a looooong stretch of road..  Guess that is all SOC had to work with.. Plus what ever they could get out of the seperate com-cens..

Which brigade wrote that?

Salisbury - not exactly the best way of dealing with it in my opinion either.
