Blackfellows Crk and Langhorne Crk trucks of the Strathalbyn Group were/are on KI.....We missed them at Ashbourne fire friday...We gotta get more crews available day times.....this summer going to be bad.*Sighs*

yep probie your definatly hard core saying you'd go back. but each to their own, and another good memory was the hot changeover that had us lying under a blue gum plantation for 2 and a half hours waiting for the bus to come back.

I remember several deaths attributed to this being publicised back in my younger years. Basically, the oxygen in a boot is limited, because of the seals. Also, in older cars they do not tend to have an internal release for the boot or for the middle seat armrest that have been installed into newer cars.

There's also the problem with temperature. You hear frequently not to leave children in the car, as on a 30 degree day the interior of a car can rise above 50 degrees. If one was trapped in the boot I imagine this would start to cause a few problems... So the life threat is there.

This would have been a P1 response from MFS unless stated in the broadcast Priority 2 :wink:

I can tell you this even though im very hard to scare the lightning & thunder which just tore through Kalangadoo scared the living day lights out of me  :-o as i was worried that it was gonna be accompanied by real big hail or a Tornado like storms that happen during summer & winter

Those 2 messages are a result of the GRN paging network being knocked offline by the thunder & lightning
