New Uniforms...

In the new volunteer magazine on the website there is an article about the dress, corporate, field, and casual uniforms. Are the CFS finally going to make us look a professional fire service...

If anyone has any info/pics about these new categories of uniform can you please post it on this forum. Im sure theres alot more people who want to know what they are talking about.

After all the carry on about the uniform there is no difference, its still khaki, it still looks bad and now we have the bottle green field uniform to make us look even more like the wiggles.

Stewart and Heaton reckon they submitted a Proban version of the field uniform but it was rejected, that would have solved our problem re 2 uniforms, just do what samfs do and wear the treated shirt and the PBI pants, but nooooooo.

i doubt that they would actually spring for a set for every vollie out there...

Can Mengcfs please repost that Powerpoint presentation which shows all the new and proposed changes to the Uniform.

I understand the cost is very high,the new uniform was ment to be cheaper so as Volunteers could buy it?? I did hear that chubb have lots of gear that they are half price selling as they no longer have the contract.
