Received an email today saying you have not been selected for a Pat 2, more information to come, i had my interview on 28/09, anyone else get the same?

Hey guys,

Does it say .... you have not been selected for a PAT 2 "at this stage" . My understanding is they only put enough through for each squad at a time .

Hi Mr T and Tyler2008,

My email says your have not been selected for a Pat 2, more info to come so i am guessing this is not an unsuccessful email, i am only guessing however it may be that you get put back in the "pool" to possibly be re-interviewed etc if they decide to put through more squads.

I am only guessing though, it does not give you a good idea of where you stand though does it?

Hey Zoomer,

I reckon what they will do is interview the remaining pool and mix them in with the guys already interviewed and pull the second and possibly third squad from that. Just my opinion.......

I agree with Mr T, I think they will either interview the remaining who passed the PAT1 and then add you guys into that pool to select the PAT2 for remaining squads
Or if there are enough who have already been deemed suitable from the interview and are waiting on a PAT2, they will draw the second squad from that, but again, who knows

Hi Guys,

          yes totally agree they will interview the rest that passed the Pat 1 and get a third squad from that with the guys that received a no Pat 2 but more info email, i believe so far they have interviewed just over 60.

I've also heard around 60 were interviewed, wonder when you will hear this 'more info to come' and what that info actually is

Around 60 interviewed and 25 invited for PAT2. Heard 2 or 3 failed PAT2.

So, in summary, 200 invited to PAT 1, 60 to interview and 25 to PAT 2. Unknown number in "keep fit" (PPA Pool)?

Has squad size been increased as was hinted at during the recruitment seminar?

I thought it was more around 130 invited to PAT1? And they are doing squads of 24

            Yes i heard they are doing squads of 24, i thought they would have done more than 25 Pat 2's though to count for some that fail it.

Okay, even better for those in the "keep fit" pool. Anyone able to confirm how many went through PAT 1?

I believe 130 PAT1 but a few didn't attend. Also squads of 24 now but 6 left over from last intake that have passed everything and will be in first squad. SJ000 is your mate one of those from the last intake given he has received his cab rank?

I heard .....120ish through PAT 1 , 60ish interviewed , 25ish PAT 2 . Give or take a few
