PAT2'd last week followed by lots of medicals and uniform fit up. Starting to get excited but now it's just a waiting game if they run the september squad and that I'm not a reserve, which of course is still possible. Glad that I passed the medical as heard this can be a stumbling point for some.

Squad 2 started today. Best of luck to everyone else still in the process.

Was over at the training centre today. They are preparing for a third squad. Things could change though I guess

Any estimate as to how many candidates have now been through the interview stage?

I believe there was ~180 candidates that passed PAT 1, 50 were interviewed before Christmas and ~130 told they are in the future interview pool. Since then, sounds like there has been an additional two rounds (please correct me if wrong) of interviews carried out? So, mustn't be too many still sitting in the interview pool?

I was in the suitable but not highly suitable pool. If you havnt been interviewed yet I would suggest we are no hope as they are apparently doing 3 squads back to back to back.

I'm in the interview pool. I think there's only a few over 20 or 30 left in the pool isn't there? That's what I heard.

I'd say it's not looking great for us but if we were to hear would it possibly be after the 3rd squad has started?

Has anyone received a job offer for the 3rd drill squad? Current squad finishes on 8th September so can't be long now until they start notifying recruits for the next squad if it starts straight after. I would expect they give people at least 3-4 weeks notice for their current employment...

I was told that my referees were checked a few weeks ago, so hopefully that's good news.

Was also told a rumour that they may be looking to run a 4th squad in Jan 18.

Because if you didn't have it already they also need to give you time to get it before recruits starts.

I only hear rumours, no inside information. I havnt heard about latest squad, give HR a call and ask.

Congratulations Riseandshine. What was the timeline for you in terms of when you did your Interview, Pat 2, Medical etc?

Interview early April, pat 2 late May, medical first week June, referee checks early July, job offer mid august
