Hi everyone,

Week before last they interviewed a third lot from this recruitment campaign. Anyone heard anything regarding invitation to PAT2 since those interviews? Left foot snap- you seem to hear a bit of wats happening -  any ideas? Ive heard they are running things a bit differently this campaign so maybe they haven't told people anything yet.

Interviewed, passed pat2, got requested HR license by 21st April.
Haven't heard a thing since?
Anyone confirmed for the 2nd drill squad, supposedly starting in early June..

Hey mate,

Same boat, interviewed, PAT2, medicals, uniform fittings and referee checks done. I herd the 1st squad only got about 3 weeks notice if that helps.... it's been a long wait haha hopefully something is just around the corner

I rang a few weeks back and they couldn't confirm much only that names were being put forward and phone calls would be made very shortly.

When were you guys interviewed and did the PAT2 etc? Was this around Late Jan / early Feb?
Or were you interviewed and PAT2'd within the last couple of weeks?

Early April I was interviewed. If not for the second squad (doesn't sound like it) maybe a future squad well into next financial year (September onwards if 2nd squad starts in June).
I would have thought someone would have mentioned if they have received invite for PAT2 from the early April interviews, so at this stage no news is good news maybe.

I believe there have been over 100 people interviewed so less than half will actually get a position. Probably lack of feedback due to still shuffling rankings etc from interviews and waiting results of other stages of process. Good luck

Anyone heard anything from the April interviews?

People from January interviews have had no feedback what so ever. It appears only successful applicants get notified. It seems the changes to HR in last couple of processes have been for the worse

I know of people who have had rejection letters from the 1st interview. I would still hold hope Beater. You could still be part of the 3rd squad if they are having one. Who knows. It is a bit frustrating.

I was April interviewed and haven't heard yet. I gather there is no rush from HR on conducting PAT2s though as April interviews would have been for a potential third squad well later this year so when 1st squad is currently halfway through recruit course now, no point in conducting PAT2 so far away from a recruit course start date (need people to be fit close to actually starting) that's my best guess anyway.

I think the 2nd squad would have been told as they have to be given time to ge truck license and give notice to employer

Well I would guess if you have been told to get license then you will get job offer. You done pat2?

Competed and passed everything.
Been fitted out with uniform etc, just waiting for a call now I guess

Received a call this afternoon...offered a place on the next recruit course (starting early June)! Just waiting for the paperwork before I really really believe it!

It's been a bit of a nervous wait - PAT2 in December - thrilled to bits. Hopefully all of you who are waiting hear something soon too!

Fingers crossed for a call over next few days, otherwise I think it may be a long and painful wait for a possible 3rd drill squad.

When I did my pat2 I was told there were only a few more spots to be filled for the next course, one of us would be on that and the other possibly later in year.

I received letter today for invitation to PAT2 later this month (clearly not for a June course) but still it's good news

I was told the 3rd drill squad is HIGHLY likely but couldn't confirm 100%..
The pat2 test is awesome but very challenging, need to train really hard and specific for it.

Riseandshine, you might be in the June squad. You might have jumped in front of people from second interview... who knows...

Interviewed in January but no contact since. Suspect I am out given a third round of PAT2 has been scheduled for late May and I didn't get an invite. Anyone in same boat or anyone who interviewed in Jan get an invite to contest PAT2 in late May?
