Are the PAT1's held inside or outside?

Generally inside the gymnasium at Adelaide station. Where is it held?

Adelaide station.

Haha I agree. People aiming to become a firey should all agree 9.6 is a breeze

Does anyone know how many people roughly have failed the beep test so far whether for incorrect paperwork or insufficient fitness? Or if not, a rough estimate on how many people usually don't make it past this stage?

Also with the aptitude tests, any idea as to how many people they progress to the interview stage?

Total guess but i would estimate 100 would fail or stuff something up. I believe they generally interview 150-200. Or they did around the time i got in

Hi all, long time follower - first time poster. I did my PAT 1 yesterday. I found it very surprising in the 3 groups I saw - 8 were no shows, about 5 or 6 had medical certificates and 3 didn't make the 9.6.  :?

I was in the last group for my PAT 1 and of all 4 groups, 2 didn't show, 3 had incorrect paperwork and 1 failed the test. I genuinely would have thought that people would be more prepared.

My test is on Feb 2, has anyone done it before? Don't suppose anyone has any insight?

Also how many times have people applied?

Hi guys, I've also been reading these forums on and off for a couple of years and only just felt the need to join. I did my PAT 1 on the 19th of Jan and two guys didn't have the correct paperwork and were sent home. Apparently one had travelled up from Clare that morning to make it.

Anyway I passed and have been given the 9th of Feb as the date for the next stage of testing. I work away and am unavailable to make that day. I am hoping that someone with their testing on the 2nd, 3rd or at the latest the 4th would be able to swap with me. HR are happy for dates to be swapped but it must be off our own backs. They won't help with it. They just require that we both ring and let them know of the swap and it will be done. Hopefully someone can help me out. I have been waiting (like most of you probably) for three years for a go at this. If you can help me out please comment here or pm me and I will give you a call.

Probably about 2-3 weeks after the last guys finish their testing.
