It'd be interesting to see how that would go with National Parks firefighters also seeing as they to an extent come under the CFS banner. Not to take any shine off exposures by vollies but DEWNR firefighters, especially those who have been arond for many years are easily the most (bushfire) smoke exposed firefighters in the state. 30+ prescribed burns a year exposed to consistently heavy smoke for many hours a day, many days in a row, then add the standard fires that happen during the season account for a huge intake of smoke.
