licence required
« on: March 06, 2011, 01:22:00 PM »
Hi all,

Was wondering what class licence is required to drive the 24P and 34P appliances.

Incidentally how much does a fully ladden 34P weigh?

Cheers

Most fire appliances will require an MR at a minimum. Some of the 14's and QAV's will need only a C class. Then again, some of the larger tankers will need a HR. I believe a 34P would weight around the 12ton mark, depending on its stowage kit, not 110% though.
To think they employed me as a drooling retard...

Some of the 14's require a LR...

And I think the 34's are around 13 tonne ish (most important thing, is they are under 15 tonne, and hence only a MR licence required)

There are three types of people in the world.  Those that watch things happen, those who make things happen, and those who wonder what happened.
