Just getting back to LS crew. I saw someone getting out of LS1 car (same number plate and fleet number), but on the back of their uniform it indicated that they were a "Rescue Paramedic". Now this (I thought) was for SOT. Any ideas :?

Ok just to put your mind at ease both Medstar, and the SOT's do shared stretches between the two, ambulance and also the ACTL's to keep a hands on and also keep up skills so it's not uncommon to be a third on an ambulance or double up on SPRINT or any of the Lima cars for your info, in recent weeks I have seen this quite often at jobs, Boredy can correct me if im wrong, but that is waht they have told me when speaking to them

SA Firey is right, the SOTs rotate through MedSTAR. As far as I am aware, there is at least one Paramedic who works for MedSTAR full time.

Who knows, could be someone doing overtime as Lima Sierra, or a car they were loaned by Fleet whilst their jetpack was being repaired  :-D,  Saas is a fluid and constantly evolving animal.

I believe the Territory is now becoming the vehicle of choice for many SAAS roles, Clinical Support Officers for instance (and some RTL's)currently drive Holden sports wagons but will eventually change over to the Territory, so it will be a little harder to tell who is who by the car they drive.

What station(s) do clinical support officers work out of?

Knackers

CSO's have offices at certain stations/SAAS facilities. Much like an area manager has an office, a CSO has an office.

There are Clinical Support Officers that work in the South East of the state. Last time I was at Victor I saw a Clinical Support Officer responding under lights and sirens to an MVA. Don't think he's usually based there though. I know that the CSO who works South East is usually in Mt Gambier or Millicent.

CS11 usually works from Marion Station and can first respond to anywhere he gets sent to.

There are a few CSO cars CS5,CS6,CS11,CS12 and the one down the South East is OS3.

Probably a SOT member did an extra overtime shift to cover a sickie.
