I have seen (twice now) a white Sprinter that has Rescue Ambulance written on it (red and yellow livery) with red/red roof lights and the wording about mine maritime industrial rescue on the rear quarters.

Who is this company? Are they allowed to have red lights since that is an emergency vehicle colour?

I think you'll find this is the service which operates out of the Desal plant site. They have a 24/7 paramedic presence there.

i'll think you find he is an interstate sub-contractor for the local company that does the health/medical for the desal plant!  (and aren't they a bunch of busy beavers!! :-D  )
