I am a big fan of the MERC 911 fire appliance as they go any where....

Can remember this one well. It use to see service at Adelaide International Raceway for the big drag race meetings (when it used to run them!!) It put out a number of fires in Nitro Funny Cars & Top Fuel Dragsters. Can even remember it pulling a dragster out from under a armco barrier after the dragster had run off the end of the track and buried itself under the armco.

Used to be the pride of the fleet at Virginia. Spit and polish after every fire call in the old days so ive heard.  :-)
