Hello all rescue personal.

How would you go about extricating a young kid who found himself stuck in a washing machine like this poor lad in the US?  :-D :?

A very breif article on adelaide now -

perhaps;

dismantle the machine so you just have a kid in a drum, then recipro down the sides if theres enough clearance from the casualty? along with hand tools to spread?

Oh recipro? Talk about killing the poor kids ear drums! You may as well just use a powersaw

How about cutters/spreaders and a hand pump?
To think they employed me as a drooling retard...

chook

Yep with numbers (cutters, spread, handpump) a lot quieter + most modern bowls are stainless = hard on blades.
cheers
Ken

After smacking the kid over the head for considering something so stupid.  Break his leg and move it so he can be dragged out through the top.

No point wrecking a perfectly good washing machine!    :-D :-D :-D :-D

Seriously its a joke for those without a sense of humour! :-o

Washing machines ARE expensive these days.. I like the way you think!

I would love to see a partial dismantle, but transport the kid to hospital with the tub still attached..... state to the doctors that you could do more damage to the kid removing the tub, so treated like a impaled patient by not removing the object.

Would make great media coverage at the hospital entrance.     :-D

My personal opinion only.

Dismantle, remove motor, undo agitator & remove outer shell if required, less damage, less noise, less stress on the kid.

how about the application of soap/detergent (do the washing at the same time), after all if they got in they can get out again.

Q) what course of action should you take if you witness someone suffering a seizure in the bath?

A) throw in powder and your dirty clothes
