group field day

So its that time of the year when we see some group's and regions having field days so does anyone know of any coming up???

Im with you on that one Pip, last one I went to was at Oakbank years ago just before Stuart Ellis left :-o

i know region 2 has one coming up soon it going to be held at angaston group this year
we save lives, we breath smoke, we eat ash, why do we do it? cos it's a way of life for us that we have chosen to take

Region 3 will be holding on at MORGAN in August....

The Region 3 Field Day will be held on August 3rd, in Morgan.

Appliances are being staged at the Morgan Oval, with crews / appliances expected to arrive from 7.30, with formalities from 9.30 a.m.

Several exercises will be held around the town.

Heard a rumour they will be demonstrating how to pump Murray water through a fire pump.....Didnt know our trucks could pump sand?

Morgan will also have  a trade display from  one or two company's on the day hope there is a nice pub for me to have a few drink's the night before......

Light group is haveing one on the 13th of september at roseworthy i think the crews will stage at the ABB grain storage staging area

Region 2 are holding a field day on Oct 26th, in and around Angaston.

Several exercises are planned, with involvement from local community groups, and other emergency services.

The event will be used by members of the Angaston Group to practice their IMT skills, as well as allowing crews to on the ground to learn, and practice their skills.
